Still late on the Take Two schedule but this theme was so inspiring to me, I just had to do it. Day 9's theme was "Inspired by your location". My location is Montreal, and Montreal is known for its rustic brick residential buildings and wrought iron balconies.

So I got my Julep Maven December box in the mail... so excited! I already swatched Vivien (along with two other champagne-themed polishes) in this blog post, and now I am giving you... swatches of Harper! Once again... Ooooo, shiny!

Harper has a nice turquoise jelly base that is pretty sheer, and is chock full of fine to small glitter. It applies really well. The formula isn't runny or gloopy, it's just gel-like enough that it applies uniformly without flooding your cuticles. It IS pretty sheer though, so even though I applied three coats, you can still see my tips pretty clearly.

Today's theme in the Take Two challenge is "Polka dots". Pretty straightforward, isn't it? Well there you have it.

I even managed to capture a little bit of the elusive gold shimmer on Zoya - Charla, which is my base colour on this mani. Check out the bottom of the post for a close-up shot.
