Swatch: Julep - Harper

Only 5 more days to enter my nail art contest!
The goal: to design a socially engaged manicure that supports
a cause and raises awareness about an issue that you care about.
The 50 first participants get a prize!

So I got my Julep Maven December box in the mail... so excited! I already swatched Vivien (along with two other champagne-themed polishes) in this blog post, and now I am giving you... swatches of Harper! Once again... Ooooo, shiny!

Harper has a nice turquoise jelly base that is pretty sheer, and is chock full of fine to small glitter. It applies really well. The formula isn't runny or gloopy, it's just gel-like enough that it applies uniformly without flooding your cuticles. It IS pretty sheer though, so even though I applied three coats, you can still see my tips pretty clearly.

More pics after the jump!

Then I added a coat of the Julep Matte Top Coat. It didn't really do that much, really. But the glitter seems to have a different appearance.

...Doesn't it look kinda like toothpaste?

:-o

And here it is in the bottle. I could stare at this thing for hours.

Hope you enjoyed!

  1. So pretty, I love this colour. The matte really does make the glitter look different - toothpastey for sure!

Hey lovely! I nominated you for the Liebster award on my blog - I hate leaving links in blog comments though, so let me know if you want a link to it! xx
